of 25th anniversary of restoration of Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan at “18th October” School in Podgorica

On October 28 2016  Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Montenegro, Azerbaijan – Montenegro Economicial and Cultural center with the support of "Azmont Investments" company organized celebration of 25th anniversary of restoration of Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan at “18th October” School in Podgorica. Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro Petar Ivanovich, representetives of Montenegrin Government, diplomatic corps and local media attended the event.

Counsellor the Diplomatic mission Anar Ajamov stated importance of that day for Azerbaijani nation and gave detailed information about history of independence and statesmanship of Azerbaijan. After regaining its independence 1991 Azerbaijan had various achivements in many different areas, during that period with efforts of National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan become democratic, unitar, legal and secular republic. A.Ajamov stated that President of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev succesfully continues policy of Heydar Aliyev nowadays.

A.Ajamov informed guests that, by the order of the President Ilham Aliyev about “25th anniversary of regaining independence of Azerbaijan Republic” this significant day is celebrated also in many other countires all over the world.

During their speeches Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro P. Ivanovich and director of school Danka Mikhailovich praised improvment of Azerbaijani-Montenegrin relations.

At the event Montenegrin schoolboys performed anthem of Azerbaijan.
